Step-by-Step Instructions
1
Power Off and Prepare

Turn off your phone completely. Remove any case and SIM tray. Clean your workspace and gather all necessary tools.

Ensure the device is completely powered off before proceeding.
2
Remove Pentalobe Screws
Using the P2 Pentalobe screwdriver, remove the two screws at the bottom of the phone, on either side of the charging port.
3
Heat the Bottom Edge
Apply heat to the bottom edge of the phone to soften the adhesive. Use a heat gun on low setting or a hair dryer for about 2 minutes.
Don't overheat - the phone should be warm to touch but not too hot to hold.
4
Create a Gap
Place a suction cup just above the home button area. Pull up gently while inserting a plastic opening tool into the gap.
5
Separate the Screen
Carefully slide the opening tool along the edges to separate the adhesive. Work slowly and apply heat as needed.

Be extremely careful not to damage the display cables on the right side.
